Sometimes entertainment reviews become so inside baseball convoluted it is like over complicated philosophers going in circles until it seems as if they have circled completely back, overrunning their own initial points. (I have no idea what Alison is trying to say, except maybe to sound super sophisticated.)

On the other hand perhaps it’s because, except for at least semi serious movie plots, I don’t give entertainment much thought. All I know is I love political satire as dished out by Steven Colbert. The rest ranges from fair to downright stupidly corny. Meaning that I enjoy about a third of Saturday Night Live and thus often end up sleeping through a lot of the really good parts.
