Sure people have a right to believe anything, and brother do they. But here we have the New York Times expecting to maintain a reputation of always projecting fact based truth, and then they toss it away on a lark like this. There are tons of alternative fact publications, the Times need not dabble in this sort of nonsense to stay relevant.
On the other hand if the Times simply wants to cash in on the market for this sort of know-nothingness then it really has lost its way, and I say hang in there Washington Post.
