Sure Trump has built his whole political career around the White tribal impulse. Alas, it’s nature’s way — them and us. It requires a lot of sophistication to rise above what in large part is the human defense mechanism, but I’m hoping before this is over that at least 51% of White voters can overcome their deeply ingrained bias. It’s the only way a multicultural society can survive.
