The first thing we’ve got to do is make sure that all the folks who are reasonably qualified to vote (get rid of voter suppression of any kind)have easy access to the poles. After that if you want kids voting (few will unless voting becomes mandatory), their lack of perspective won’t be any worse that old folks too set in their ways to process new information. In fact the few youth who do make an effort to vote will likely be better informed about what is best for our democracy than older folks that mostly just vote for what they often mistakenly believe is in their own best interest.
