The GOP has devolved into a pure protest and advantage party. On one hand the party has become a haven for folks who have a knee jerk way of being against everything. Second the party exists to reward its well heeled backers far more than a third of Democrats who do the same.

Republicans at the national level have neither the desire nor ability to govern. It is only a political advantage game for them. Trashing the Affordable Care Act being a classic case of throwing folks under the bus as a cheap nod to their know-nothing, anti-Obama base.
