The Green New Deal, Umair, is simply another rebalancing of politics whereby the good of the many is moving (with 70% backing of Americans) against the greedy excess of the few. It is how democracy was designed to work.

This is simply the continuation of a process whereby Teddy Roosevelt slammed the Robber Barron's of 1890s with trust busting laws and FDR countered the dismal living conditions of average Americans of the depression years with his new deal programs. Of course the outcome all depends on America surviving the corruption of Trump, Putin and the GOP.
