The human problem always comes back to the fact of evolution. Since we have evolved from primitive creatures the more primitive part of our brain is always the foundation of our thinking. That would be ego, the root of our survival impulse, which more often than not Trumps intellect. (Trump, except in Bridge, always being a bad thing, especially the Donald type Trump.)

Sorry, Ken, my attention span tends to fall apart way too quickly, and unfortunately like our “President, I sometimes go all silly.
