The Ironic Mr. Trump
According to his contemporaries Mr. Trump was a pain in the ass kid who was raised by a more than somewhat unethical father, a guy that received, in essence, his business PhD at the feet of a mob boss lawyer who was eventually disbarred, the infamous Mr. Roy Cohn.
As a relatively smalltime New York City real estate swindler, Trump’s brash personality managed to keep him one step ahead of the law on his way to many bankruptcies, a zero credit rating with US banks and finally, when nearly becoming a street person, was thrown a life preserver by the Russian mob, Putin’s pals. Thus his strange devotion to the Russian dictator, “president.”
It is Ironic that it was not until Mr. Trump reached the exalted heights of President of the United States of America that he was finally deemed a big enough fish to make it worth law enforcement’s energy to battle its way through his maze of legal defenses.
It is even far more ironic that his illegal and traitorous efforts, efforts that in one way or the other may at long last last bring down this lowlife, may have been wasted on one that it turns out is not going to be his opponent in his bid for a second term in the White House. Now if that happens my friends it will, indeed, be an over the top irony.
Perhaps it may be that Trump escapes to Russia where Putin takes great pleasure in humiliating a former American president and constantly tortures him by threatening to release him into the custody of US law officials. It would be about as bad for him as if the at the end of WWII the Russians had captured Adolf Hitler and paraded him through the streets of Moscow in a cage cart. Poor Donny, life can be so unfair, or is it simply karma lashing back at him?
