The only reason I tend to favor Democrats these days is because 90% of Republicans are in the bag for fat cat donors and only about 30% of Democrats. Just look at Republicans prostrating themselves before the gun lobby for example vs. Democrats taking the position of most Americans toward sensible regulation.
