The Perfect Democratic Pairing

I can’t see mayor Pete running for president with just anyone as his running mate. And I can’t see Stacey Abrams paired with just anybody as their VP.

It is a normal presidential cycle thing that voters nearly always pick a president completely opposite of the previous commander-in-chief. Mayor Pete is smart and well spoken, about as honest as they come for a politician, a combat veteran and, yes, even young and normal looking. Now how’s that for being Trump’s perfect opposite?

The trouble is that older folks and minorities are not so taken with the young feller. So here is where Stacey Abrams comes into the picture. She plays super duper with mature folks and minorities. And as we all know, had the Georgia governor’s race not been fixed she would be the first black, female governor of Georgia right now.

Therefore if Mayor Pete does well in Iowa and New Hampshire, he needs to start making noises about wanting Tracey on the ticket with him in order that he make it all the way to the White House for truly cleaning up the Trump/GOP swampy, traitorous mess.
