The least of President Trump’s worries are the sorts of technically non-criminal activities that can lead to his impeachment. What terrifies the Donald is the rat’s nest of criminal financial dealings that he has built up with the Russia underworld (Putin and his ruling oligarchs) since around 2007.

It is astounding just how much of an abject business failure Trump has been over most of his lifetime while at once pulling off an image of himself as a highly successful, billionaire entrepreneur. Even more astounding, however, is how fantastically successful he has been as the middlemen of a vast international money laundering enterprise center on Russian interests. In other words he is exactly the lying crook he appears to be for anyone not dazzled by his sparkling reality TV bullshit.

As it turns out what so far has saved Mr. Trump from the poorhouse after multiple bankruptcies are America’s lax real-estate laws. Although after 9/11 laws were passed to tighten up transactions of mortgage lenders, super wealthy Russian oligarchs pay in cash to bypass this slight impediment to criminal activity — money laundering. Moreover, what a property is worth is what those buying and selling a particular piece of property agree that it’s worth.

Therefore to rake in vast sums of money all the very otherwise ability challenged, flimflam man, Mr. Trump, has to do is simply turn a blind eye toward the source of the money that is buying his various world wide properties at vastly inflated prices. This is assisted by a convoluted network of shell companies that thoroughly insulate the checks cashed by the Trump organization on behalf of their boss from where the dark money emanates.

As the Russians say to one another, with a knowing smile, the president is our man. For a much more detailed view of Trump’s criminal activities that are tied to the Russians check out, Donald Trump Was Bailed Out of Bankruptcy by Russia Crime Bosses, by Mark Sumner/Daily Kos.
