The Rush Limbaugh Party Formerly Known As The GOP

The modern Republican Party was founded back in the 1990s by then Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and Fox News CEO Roger Aliles. Together, for big bucks, they have managed to round up most of the nation’s political misfits into a profitable political juggernaut.

Currently this anti-American juggernaut (it colludes with Russia bigly) is controlled by Rush Limbaugh and his 20 million person following of hardcore xenophobic true believers, being assisted by a few Fox News personalities and some other crazies on rightwing talk radio.

Trump and most Republicans in Congress are merely Rush’s proxies, forced to do as he says or face political extinction. Those who have found his leadership unbearable have either disappeared from politics altogether, or, like Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace, they have fled to the sanity of MSNBC.

Yes, my friends, it has come to pass that the once proud Republican Party has fallen into the clutches of a fat, big mouth, broken down drug addict, a radio personality that feeds the twisted needs of America’s xenophobic sillies. With his American intellectual underclass audience Limbaugh has struck economic and political gold. For personal gain, Rush, through his moronic White House creation and his legions in Congress, daily throws America under the bus. Indeed, folks, wealth and power are within his chubby grip, and there seems to be little that America’s better angels can do about it.

The hard truth is that America is chained to a relic of a Constitution design for a much slower moving time, a time before a symbolic push of a button could extinguish all humanity in the blink of an eye. And so there are no practical solutions in place to quickly remove political cancers when they develop. We therefore stand paralyzed to save ourselves from the forces of national destruction. Rush has got us all as his hostages. Party on if you can my friends.
