The sad part for we poor humans, Eric, is that the universe has a habit of in time doing away with its creations, which I call probability balance. Usually the seeds of its own destruction are set within each creation of the universe. For instance within all our marvelous technical creations is the bomb, and as a general byproduct of our general advancement is global warming. So it would seem that there are forces way beyond humanity’s capability to keep itself a viable factor of the universe for much longer no matter what we might do. But I agree that we have no choice but to try as best as we can to hang on.
