The Selfish Filthy Rich Need To Channel Their Peers Buffett And Gates For Happiness

As the good book says, what does it profit a man should he gain the entire world and loose his very soul, or something to that effect? Do you really believe that the secret to happiness and a fulfilling life is merely piling up billions in offshore bank accounts?

I mean how much more fun would it be to use large wads of those billions for the good of your country and your fellow man. Yes, how empty a life is it that’s based on merely how one stands in wealth compared to one’s rich peers? This is an ego trip to nowhere. Do you really want to end up an angry, bitter, isolated and hated man like Trump (hated except by those silly folks who seem to be entertained by confrontation) a pitiful specimen of humanity? If not, then start thinking like President Kennedy suggested, “ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.”

Do you really suppose your would be happier with 100 billion over that 50 billion dollar pile that you have already accumulated? When it comes to the good life, after a while all those zeros of worth lose their charm, but you sure would feel wonderful about yourself by putting it to good work for others while you were still alive to enjoy it. Or perhaps you have become so numbed by wealth that you have no idea what real happiness feels like. Then I suggest doing an experiment to find out by starting to think of doing for others rather than thinking about more, always more for me.

Indeed, you most wealthy of Americans have it within your power politically and every other way to turn our nation into a living paradise for both others and yourselves. Come on guys it will be great fun. Just follow the lead of Buffett and Gates and happiness is yours on a silver platter.
