The short version is that the greedy super rich, not just the super rich, have learned how to buy up governments by having their political shills play upon voter xenophobia to gain political control and thus write bills that are highly unfavorable to average citizens. I’m hoping that the midterms was a real backlash by the young, women and minorities. Let’s hope Trump is the end of this distructive trend.
