“The truth is that our societies are not ruled by reason, logic, and morality anymore — they have been conquered by collective delusions — something like mass fantasies, which please us, in a time when facing the truth, reading the headlines, becomes a little more difficult every day.”

To be correct, Umair, please remove the word anymore. Societies have always not been ruled by reason, logic and morality. It shocks me that one of your insight hasn’t picked up on this. Every generation thinks that it is living though the worst of times, and of course sometimes that is the case, but not at this particular time.

You can see, however, the building forces of high destruction, sort of like around 1910 presiding the humongous butchery of World Wars One and Two when folks died by the hundreds of millions after almost a hundred years of relative clam. Humanity has always been a sort of pressure cooker going through endless cycles of building pressure then enormous blow offs.

Now of course as the global population continues to mushroom out of control each major blow off and the minor ones in between become increasingly more horrific. It should be obvious by now that the final blow off will be an all out nuclear conflagration that puts a permanent end to humanity and most other life forms. Moreover, it is quite possible that Trump will be the detonator of the last blow off.
