There is a ray of hope, Rick. It looks like the Republican establishment is counting on Mitt Romney to lead the counterattack against Trump since his Mormon political base is not in the Trump fold.

On the other hand the GOP can not afford to lose out to the Democrats that are on the verge of taking over America from the super rich if they regain power. Indeed, if the Dems win back complete power, a multicultural democratic America will arise and the Democrats will never again be beholden to fat cat donors for political survival; meaning Republicans might still be willing to risk a Trump dictatorship rather than lose power to the masses.
