For instance I do not own a smart phone and don’t intend to. In other words I have admitted that the internet on a desktop computer is pretty much where I get off this rocket ship.
I’m not mad about the fact that I’m sort of being left behind. The race is always to the young and the swift. It’s just the way life is for some. I see friends my age desperate to keep up. In my own way I still do, but it’s not by jumping on every new social or technological gimmick coming down the pike.
In fact I find it very relaxing and enjoyable not being bugged by daylong texting, or worrying about what someone is doing or saying on Facebook.
No, I think those who are mad at the world it is because at heart average folks hate change. I don’t. But then I only pay attention to those changes that interest me. Blaming others, so called elites, for one’s situation is a losers game.
