There is always an offset to everything. In a case with something bad there is an inevitable positive offset — says the universal law of probability balance.

And so where lies run rampant truth will take on a much greater value. In other words those folks who gain and maintain a reputation for truthfulness will become extremely highly valued. People need something they can count on, or at least smart folks do.

As a side note, one of the main reasons why the mainstream media is so despised by certain groups of people, Trump people to be exact, has to do with the following saying: People pray not so much for their daily bread as they do for their daily delusion.

Trump folks are folks whose primitive egos are intellectually non enhanced. And so like Trump their egos want what they want unimpeded by reality. Therefore, also like the Donald, they live in an alternate universe. The rational mainstream media is not in the business of supporting delusion. It therefore presents a reality that Trump folks are desperately trying to escape, and thus they hate the media and cheer like crazy when Trump attacks the truth tellers. The bottom line is that folks who are conned by guys like Trump are folks very often wishing to be conned — delusion is their manna.
