Thing is that the world’s wealth has always been grossly uneven. That’s not good but there are worse factors weighing down on humanity.

The Earth is a fixed sized container with limited resources of which climate change is amplifying those limitations. Capitalism, depending on endless growth and expansion, is now running headlong into a condition of necessary contraction.

It is like a cage of fast multiplying rats reaching the density breaking point. They go into a killing rage of frustration.
