This piece, Allan, is a lot more insightful than funny, and something I’ve given a lot of thought. Women are more inclusive, thoughtful and nurturing, yet there must be some reason it has been mostly male rulers for tens of thousands of years.

It is like they have been too busy having and raising children, and the fact that might in the past always made right. Moreover, and there is no politically correct way to say this, the typical women in past days has not been all that interested in big picture subjects.

But the main reason women have not been leaders so much is that humans are hardwired to follow the most aggressive male of the tribe, even when sometimes he is a fraud like Trump. But as life grows more complex, and intellect begins to trump brawn, it has given women a better shot at leadership positions.
