This Trump fiasco is unfolding for rational folks about as I expected, only faster. Yes, I anticipated that at first we would be quaking in our boots certain that the orange monster would turn America into some sort of dictatorship within a year, but that he would be as bad at that attempt as he has been with everything else he has ever tried, and therefore would have to find someone to bail him out, only now there is no one left since we are at last onto his Russian gambit.

Consequently I expected that in six months or a year the Donald would simply devolve to become the laughing stock of the world — not feared but merely the butt of every comic’s jokes on the planet. We are there already, right Steve Colbert and co.
