Too Bad For The Roseanne Show

I was thinking that the Roseanne show was going to turn out to be an updated version of “All in the Family.” It had lots of potential for debunking racism and other forms of xenophobia. But I guess when the “star” is at heart on the other side of our better angels, it’s a no go — bummer.

Instead of ditching the entire cast, it might have worked just to have ditched and replaced Rosanne and called it “Divided Family.” There really is a need for an All in the Family type show to counter the evil one in the White Stained House.
