Trump Administration Pumps Record Defense Spending Money Into Areas Where It’s Convenient For The One Percent To Invest For Fun And High Profits
The Trump administration is pumping record amounts of money into defense contractors who build super expensive military hardware, ideal for fighting wars of the twentieth century. You know the last century’s wars — fought mainly by ships, tanks and airplanes.
He is stuffing mega military contradictors with funds that are convenient for the big buck crowd to vest in companies like Lockheed-Martin, (the F-35 joint strike fighter at hundreds of million of dollars per pop), Northrop-Grumman (the B-21 Bomber), Sikorsky (Black Hawk helicopters) and Raytheon (defense and tactical missiles of every kind).
Yes, we remember from the Iraq war when critical but mundane, non big-ticket items such as bullets and body armor were for many months in short supply. Not a lot of money to be made by the super rich in these industries.
The Russians and other potential adversaries have little interest in such awesomely complex and expensive weapon systems of their own, leaving it to the Americans to waste there bucks there, as they instead are concentrating on the next war — cyber warfare. Along with developing ways to turn off our eclectic and water and sabotage who knows what else, they are hacking everything in sight with the intention of having us turn on each other and kill off the democratic process.
Sure there have been some budget increases in our cyber defense and warfare systems, but where it counts down the road the budget for research and development along the lines of cyber security and warfare has been significantly cut, no doubt a tip of Trumps hat to his pal Putin’s intensions — traitor!
The bottom line is that together with juicy tax cut for the rich, Trump and the GOP are setting up huge investment opportunity for the one percent, stealing money that should instead be going to average citizens for Medicare, social security and the nation’s general infrastructure.
