Trump Can’t Possibly Win Simply Because At Least 65% Of Americans Are Rational.
Now by rational I don’t necessarily mean right. Few folks understand the finer subtleties of the Constitution or the workings of the Federal Government or the ins and outs of macroeconomics or how the Fed tries to balance the nations financial needs, that is to say beyond partisan, political, bumper sticker slogans. But at least they can recognize an attempt at a coherent explanation of issues.
And unless you are desperately, emotionally, fanatically and irrationally attached to Trump’s con artist bullshit, it doesn’t take a rationally based person long, if any time at all, to detect that Trump’s factually senseless, rambling diatribes are like a six year old playing at brain surgeon.
Indeed, Trump’s attempt at articulating complex issues would be like watching Sarah Palin wing it through an explanation of quantum mechanics. Even if one hasn’t a clue about the subject matter; her disjointed ramblings would make it obvious that she is clueless as well.
On the other hand at least “lying Hillary” can put nouns, verbs, and adjectives in a rational sequence that seems to make understandable sense, even if it’s not one’s preferred sense.
Just because Trump ran away with the Republican electorate, it doesn’t mean that the nation’s majority willingly sucks up demagoguery; it just means the crazies have mostly migrated to one sick party — Trump’s Party. Sorry, Mr. Speaker, the party you think you have is no more and you have no way of getting it back.
The bottom line is that most reasonably educated folks are simply not going to commit national suicide by putting a certifiably crazy man in the White House, no matter how badly they view Hillary.
