Trump is merely the stink on top of the GOP dungheap. Sure, Republicans opposed Trump in the beginning because he brought into the open what the modern GOP had become.

The entire purpose of the Republican party today, as shills for the fat cats on Wall Street, is to gum up the works and act as a distraction so that corporate America will have a free hand to run its predatory practices unimpeded — that’s it.

The fact that Trump’s antics are so effective at such distraction has caused the predatory party to go all in with Trump. Okay, it might backfire, but who cares. The public is catching on to the super rich ploy, and just may go hard left to put a stop to its exploitation of average Americans — low wages and outrageous living expenses. Meanwhile, billionaires are piling up huge profits in offshore bank accounts instead of reinvesting their extravagant gains in things that are good for all Americans. To the contrary, they search for ways to hurt the average citizen, like take away their health care.
