Trump Panders To Populist Sentiments On Behalf Of Wall Street

As the political comedian Bill Maher keeps saying, never underestimate the stupidity of the American electorate. Even a high school freshmen must have known that the rash of impossible lies and promises that Trump spewed forth to his adoring faithful was the worst sort of hot air. Indeed, there were millions of rubes that actually hoped that a New York billionaire, a notorious flimflam man, was going to be their savior. (Men pray not so much for their daily bread as they do for their daily deception.)

So now, behind a smokescreen of tweets meant to pander to his gullible backers, Trump is stuffing his administration with as many Wall Street characters as possible.

And thus when once the sillies railed against a Black man of great integrity and thoughtfulness who worked hard on behalf of all Americans, they now cheer on one who is aiming to slit their throats with a smile.

Bottom line is that the super rich are going to party as they once again drive the country back into the ditch. It’s just what Wall Street Republicans do.
