Trump, Putin and the NRA are all allies of humanity’s worst angels. Our better angels are only temporally in hiding until the tide changes and washes away the scum in the White House and the poison oozing out of Fox “News.”

But there will eventually be a new birth of national goodness, but don’t count on it being tomorrow.
