Trump vs. The New York Times

The first thing would-be dictators do is go after the press. Then they go after intellectuals. Then they cry about how they are being mistreated as they begin to make their critics disappear. A dictator is simply a bully on a grand scale. And of course the weak-minded flock to them hoping to end up in their inner circle least the bullies put the screws to them.

The bully’s greatest fear is that some powerful entity calls his bluff and tells him to fuck off. I just hope the New York Times stands tall against Trump’s intimidation tactics.
