Vested Interests Ignorance And Corruption Go Together Hand In Glove

Using xenophobic techniques to cause large numbers of White working class citizens to vote against their own self-interest, the GOP, on behalf of industrial America, has become the champion of the nation’s corrupt vested interests. Indeed, the entire Republican Party has become both the champions of hate and that of vested interest businesses like oil, coal and Big Pharma. It’s a dangerously toxic game, much as German industrialists played with the Nazi Party in the middle of the last century. The result of that combination, then, was some sixty million deaths and German, as well as countless other European cites, turned to piles of rubble.

Initially the GOP fought the notion of Trump as their leader, but once it was realized that the Donald and the new dog-whistled Republican base were one and the same and that Trump was mostly willing to carry water for party fat cat benefactors, members quickly fell whole heartedly in line behind the awfulness of the Donald.

Now the nation’s survival as the worlds leading democracy is faced with the subversive clown act of newly minted Attorney General William Barr. This strange man has in the past shown signs of favoring an imperial presidency, something that a seriously threatening mind like that of Donald Trump would love to convert into the world’s greatest and most brutal dictatorship. Nothing would suit his certifiably sick ego more that outdoing the corruption of such heads of state s as the little killer of North Korea and Russia’s ruthless Vladimir Putin.

So have American capitalists managers learned nothing from the horrors of the German industrialists of the last century? Are they so unenlightened as to risk everything, to risk the end of democracy and the nation’s very existence by backing a corrupt Republican Party lead by a demented fraudulent leader? Will their shortsighted greed cause them to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs? With Attorney General Barr, vigorously supported by Republicans, currently running interference for Trump, it would seem as though big money skipped history class altogether in its rise to power, and the rest of us are possibly going to have to pay a big price for their blindness.
