What folks seem to lose track of in our current modern world is that nukes have radically altered how major war can be fought — not at all. This means there cannot be satisfying answers to military and political tensions — just extremely complex proxy wars or hit and run engagements of limited scope. The real cleansing war — WWIII — means game over for all of us. So what we see is what we are going to see until oops — game over.
