When all the mumbo-jumbo underpinning prayer is stripped away, prayer is really nothing more than meditation, which of course can be quite beneficial. Meditation, however, need not be preformed at work. Take charge of your own life. Simply brush away the cobwebs of tradition and religious dogma and create your own when, where and how you pray.
After all it is only by an accident of fate (what culture you were born into) that ties you to a specific prayer ritual. Since there are hundreds of prayer rituals around the world that at some point in time were initiated by a single individual, there is nothing but habit stopping you from initiating a prayer ritual that is compatible with your current work schedule.
