When High Profile Trump Backers Turn Against Him

It is beginning to look like there is an obvious telltale sign that a high profile Trump backer has been passed over for a plum position in the Trump administration. And that is when suddenly some high profile backer, say, a Newt Gingrich or Sarah Palin start bad mouthing Trump’s words or deeds.

Both Newt and Sarah have been longtime backers of carrot top Trump. But recently Newt went south on the Donald complaining that when he claimed that he had won the popular vote that that was a very bad thing to say. And then a few days later Sarah who had been rumored to be in line for the head of Veterans Affairs, out of the blue, jumped on Trump for what she indicated was his bribing of the Carrier Corporation to remain in the US as a very anti free market deal.

There’s no guarantee that these remarks are a sour grapes bailouts on Trump, but we shall soon find out.
