Why Do MAGA Hats Think They Are So Special?

Donald J. Trump has spent a lifetime shafting the little guy to make up for his corrupt and moronic business failures (413 million of his father’s fortune down the drain). His fraudulent Trump University and stiffing of suppliers and venders supporting his far-flung business fiascos are just the tip of the iceberg of this pathological liar. Indeed, reputable politicians and businessmen will have nothing to do with this mountain of corruption and incompetence.

And yet somehow these down home MAGA hats think that somehow the Donald is going to give them special treatment. I mean one has to be dumb, death and blind not to see past Trump’s gobbledygook circus act. Yet these rubes continue to think that this two-bit chiseler cares about their needs. Why? Why do they think that Trump will treat them any better than, say, Stormy Daniels, or the thousands of contractors that built his numerous bankrupt casinos?

While Democrats have spent decades pushing for things to make life better for average citizens like Social security, Medicare and Medicaid, the GOP has been looking for ways to get rid of such government programs. Right now Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell is working hard to cut these popular programs in order to help pay for the tax cut he and Trump just handed out to their super wealthy donors.

Yes, the GOP has become as corrupt as their party’s leader and “our” president. Right now, after the Republicans voted to get rid of Obama care some 60 times, with its popular coverage of preconditions; Trump and a host of GOP and state officials are busy in court suing to eliminate the coverage of heath preconditions, this, even though in ad after ad Republicans lie through their rotten teeth, as they claim to be defending this life saving benefit. People have got to get it through their heads that Republicans are never interested in doing good by average citizens — never.

And why does what passes for today’s GOP establishment lie in a chorus with Trump? Because Trump’s MAGA hats, based on nothing but a vague hatred of elites, have convinced themselves that some New York shyster loves them. Meanwhile it won’t be the MAGA hats (special my ass) that reap Trump rewards but rather GOP fat cats. Oh, my poor country, this is all so sad.
