World War Two was the last major industrial war with production trumping battlefield tactics as the overwhelming determinant.

Any new war of this magnitude must inadvertently side into an all-out neclear war--the end.

This is because of the universal law of balamce which means that at some point in time creation will always be offset by destruction.
