Yes, Allan, Trump is America’s evil Joker. Unfortunately his support remains at a rock solid 40+percent because these folks wish they had the courage to do and say the things he does and says. He is what they wish they could be.

You see the country divide goes like this: Around 57% of the country is ready to move forward into America’s new reality of a multicultural, multiracial nation built around America’s professed ideals before Trump stirred up the nation’s repressed hate. Unfortunately hate is the most powerful of unifying agents. This fact about hate, by the way, is something that President Obama didn’t understand until the very end of his presidency when it elected the Donald.

The 40+percent says hell no to an inclusive America, over my dead body. America is a White Christian nation and it aims to keep it that way. These folks lack the level of intellect necessary to rise above their primitive tribal impulses, and Trump’s message is that’s just terrific. You people are the salt of the earth.

So, yes, Trump is the Joker that 40+% of Americans were born to love.
