Yes, Reg, I have some misgivings myself about that piece, and I appreciate your measured response.

I suppose it is somewhat of a knee-jerk reaction to the president’s overtly dark and crude inaugural address.

On the other hand Trump has always been a rat. His standard business practice has been to enter an investment scheme, draw in the marks, and then while the operation still seemed to possess some value slip out with a big payday, leaving others — banks and thousands of individuals — holding a worthless investment. It has all been a Trump University type smoke and mirrors con game with a trail of lawsuits following in his wake.

When one’s whole life has been about screwing others for profit, it tends to make one paranoid, thinking that everyone else must be the same way. Thus Trump’s otherwise inexplicable and irrational tweet storms.
