Yes, there used to be two parties that included a mix of liberals, moderates and conservatives. But then along came Roger Ailes and his Fox News followed by conservative talk radio. These political shit stirrers discovered that there were big bucks to be made from pandering to the nation’s crazies.

Then with the Wall Street Republicans desperate for votes the GOP began dog whiling the Fox News set until now Fox News and the Republican party are one and the same. All of this of course greased the skids for the Donald of all people becoming president.

The bottom line is that most of the nations bad eggs have drifted into the Republican Party, giving the nation’s negative forces far more power than they ever had when scatter among both major political parties — the disaster of President Trump being the most obvious indication of such an awful situation that currently cripples the nation.
