Yes, when someone sees their present life as spoiled beyond redemption they latch on to some imaginary heaven where all will be made good. I understand. We have all gone to that wishful thinking place at times.

Now I know this will be hard for your simplistic, true believer thinking to grasp, but we are both right. Say, if I were on a diplomatic missioned to hopefully prevent war, I would not want you anywhere around me. On the other hand if the mission failed and I was in a foxhole facing the enemy I would want you right next to me.

It is sort of like saying that George Patton was a peacetime moron and a wartime genius. Everyone has their time and place. You just got to be smart enough to know what for and when you are needed. The end!
