Never ever say in plan english to your underlings what criminal job you want done. And certainly when someone asks what you want done never give a literal reply, as in the case of when ambassador Sondland asked Trump in frustration, what do you want from Ukraine?

Of course Republicans, and anyone else playing attention know this. But Republicans, like sleezy, big mouth Congressman Jim Jordan, play dumb anyway and asked Sondland if the president ever pushed Ukraine for a quid pro quo, and of course the answer is no.

The bottom line here is that everybody in the country, except for the blindest of Trump true believers, know that the President was holding hostage critical weapons from Ukraine in exchange for public words from the new president of Ukraine stating that Ukraine was investigating the Bidens.
