You make a very basic and interesting point when you strongly imply that we must fight to the bitter end. This is the basic mandate of the primitive ego — to survive and prevail at all costs.

Thinking men reject such a mandate. We unfortunately, in most folks view, say that life itself is more important than the blind directive of life.

Now of course creeps like Trump known this so they employ all out intimidation to get their way, and it so often works for them, but at a terrible cost for others.

Therefore, alas, I will fight to the bitter end in theory, but not so much in hard practice.

And let me say this about Trump. Trump is a very destructive person who depends on chaos not because he would not rather be a true builder but rather because he can’t. He hasn’t got the brains or the skills to do positive things, but unfortunately he feels compelled to do spectacular things, which in his case means spectacularly destructive things.
