You seem to overlook one key point about Joe Biden. Political ideologues aren’t pushing the VP to the front of the pack. Old Joe was left as politically dead by nearly everyone including me.

I mean, there had to be more going for the man than simply an endorsement by Democratic establishment personality Jim Clyburn. Like it or not Biden is imprinted upon the consciousness of grassroots Democratic voters.

Political ideologues may find a thousands reasons that Joe should not be the party’s standard bearer, but he is going to be just that. So if Trump is the greatest threat to America, which he is, then stop the whining and get behind old Joe. I expect that he will act as a bridge to the first female president after a single term.
